We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, phone number, city) and information generated through your use of our services (booking history, service preferences, payment records). We also collect device and usage data to improve our platform.
The Kaamwale Staff app collects your precise device location (GPS) to enable real-time tracking so customers can follow your journey during an active job. Location data is collected in the foreground while the app is open and in the background while a job is marked as active, even when the app is minimised or not in use.

Location data is not sold or shared with any third party beyond the customer linked to your active job. Background location access stops automatically when a job is completed or cancelled. You can revoke location permissions at any time via your device settings, though this will prevent you from completing active jobs.
Your information is used to process bookings and deliver cleaning services, send booking confirmations and service updates via SMS/email, personalise your experience on the Kaamwale platform, resolve disputes and troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only with: (a) cleaning staff assigned to your booking — limited to name, address, and contact details; (b) payment processors to complete transactions; (c) legal authorities when required by law. All third parties are bound by confidentiality agreements.
Your data is stored on secured cloud servers with encryption in transit and at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures including access controls and regular security audits. However, no system is 100% secure — please use a strong password and keep it confidential.
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work correctly.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Booking records are kept for 3 years for legal and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or any other Google data. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google account settings.
Kaamwale services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on our website. Your continued use of Kaamwale after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
